Welcome

Welcome to my world of words,
Come in and have a seat.
Just walk around the periods,
And commas near your feet.

The haiku in the corner's sweet,
There is no need for fright,
But mind you watch the sarcasm,
As he's been known to bite.

Alliteration set the table,
And she says it's time to eat.
Let's sit down because she'd like us,
To take time for tea and treats.

We'll retire later to the den,
Kick off our shoes and socks,
Put our bare feet on the furniture,
And play with writers blocks.

I hope you will enjoy your stay,
You're welcome anytime,
Come as your are, B.Y.O.R,
That means bring your own rhyme.
